Chris was born and raised in a Christian family in Harvest, AL. He made a profession of Faith and was Baptized at the age of 18. After High School, Chris pursued and graduated with an A.S. in Business from Calhoun Community College and then pursued and graduated with a B.S. in Business from Athens State University.  

 

While attending College Chris felt the call to ministry and gained most of his “hands-on” ministry experience as a volunteer at Calvary Baptist Church, Toney, AL and Lighthouse Baptist Church, Toney, AL. Chris was ordained in 2008 and was licensed in 2015. Chris served as the interim student pastor at Harvest Baptist Church from 2016 – 2017 in Harvest, AL and then served as the  Community Minister at Pineview Baptist Church in Harvest, AL prior to coming on staff at Sardis Springs in November of 2018.

 

Chris currently works as an Integration Analyst for NASA in the Science and Technology organization. 

 

Chris has been married to his wife Jessica since 2003 and have two boys Micah (12) and Gavin (8). They have been involved in the Harvest/Madison Cross Roads Community for more than 10 years as a family and are enjoying serving in the Limestone County area in the same manor.  

 

Chris loves to work outside, go camping with the family and enjoys Alabama Football (ROLL TIDE!), his favorite hobby is woodworking. 

   

Chris has a passion to see students enter into a relationship with Jesus, know Him on a personal level and grow in their personal relationship with Him. He believes that hearts, homes and communities can be changed by reaching one heart and one home at a time with the life changing Gospel of Jesus Christ. For him, that is motivation enough to pursue all generations to embrace a faith that will last a lifetime.
